FormHER Foundation Launches with Empowering Retreat for Mothers & Daughters
On Saturday, September 13th, the FormHER Foundation will officially launch with its inaugural event, “Becoming: A Retreat for Mothers & Daughters” — a one-day experience centered on identity, image, and self-love. Held at The Venue- 2242 Carey St. in Slidell, LA from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the retreat is designed to spark powerful conversations between teen girls and their mothers about what it means to grow up whole in today’s world.
Through guided workshops, reflection, and real talk, participants will explore how beauty standards, social influences, and inner dialogue shape the way young women see themselves — and how to reclaim confidence from the inside out.
This foundational event marks the official launch of FormHER, a nonprofit committed to advancing women’s wellness across every stage of life.
